ZELLAMID® 1500 X SW offers a continuous service temperature of up to 260 °C, is resistant to hot water and steam, and retains its dimensional stability even at temperatures below –150 °C. ZELLAMID® 1500 X SW maintains consistently low friction and low wear under high surface pressure and sliding speed. Its low ion migration makes the material suitable for sensitive electrical, electronic, and semiconductor applications.
Compared to standard PEEK available on the market, ZELLAMID® 1500 X SW offers higher temperature stability and impact resistance. The material is chemically resistant – particularly against organic solvents – and complies with FDA, EU 1935/2004, and BfR requirements for food contact. In terms of flammability, it is classified V-0 according to UL 94, with low smoke and gas emissions.
ZELLAMID® 1500 X SW combines high stiffness, creep resistance, and dimensional stability with excellent sliding and wear performance. This makes it suitable for use in food technology, aerospace, automotive engineering, and demanding industrial applications.
