ZELLAMID® 1000 is an amorphous high-performance plastic based on polyetherimide (PEI) with high thermal stability, excellent dimensional stability, and very good electrical insulating properties. The material is suitable for continuous use at elevated temperatures up to approx. 170 °C and maintains consistent mechanical performance even under thermal stress. ZELLAMID® 1000 is primarily used in electrically sensitive applications, aerospace engineering, medical technology, and mechanical engineering where high heat resistance, dimensional accuracy, and reliable insulation are essential.
