ZELLAMID® 1400 T is a modified PET with a sliding-optimized additive combination for applications with constant frictional stress.
Compared to unfilled PET, the material significantly reduces the coefficient of friction and provides increased wear resistance. The sliding modification is so effective that ZELLAMID® 1400 T shows clear advantages in practical applications even over oil-filled cast polyamide (PA 6 G) – particularly under dry running conditions and with high dimensional stability.
Typical applications include precise sliding guides, bearing strips, scrapers, or structural functional parts with defined sliding contact – wherever wear-resistant sliding performance must be combined with high dimensional stability.
