ZELLAMID® 1200 is a cast PA 12 with high crystallinity, designed for dimensionally stable, mechanically demanding applications.
The material is polymerized from laurinlactam without pressure and cast into shape. The direct transition from polymerization to crystallization results in a dense, low-stress structure with high dimensional stability and excellent accuracy.
ZELLAMID® 1200 is suitable for components subject to medium to high mechanical loads, where low warpage, good toughness, and reduced water absorption are required – particularly in mechanical engineering as well as in sliding or structurally stressed applications.
