ZELLAMID® 202 HV
PA 6, high viscosity / Polyamide 6
ZELLAMID® 202 HV is a high-viscosity PA 6 with increased impact strength and improved modulus of elasticity.
Compared to standard PA 6, the material offers higher mechanical strength and remains impact-resistant even at low temperatures. The Charpy impact test shows no break at room temperature, with notched impact strength at 9 kJ/m². Water absorption and dimensional stability are equivalent to ZELLAMID® 202.
ZELLAMID® 202 HV is suitable for machine elements, construction machinery parts, and applications where high impact strength, resilience, and fracture resistance are critical even at low temperatures. Typical examples include components where chipping or material failure under impact load must be avoided.
