ZELLAMID® 250 is an extruded PA 6.6 with high strength, rigidity, and good chemical resistance.
The material is suitable for mechanically stressed components requiring defined strength in the medium temperature range. ZELLAMID® 250 shows good resistance to fuels, oils, greases, many organic solvents, and alkaline media. Its water absorption is lower than that of PA 6, which improves dimensional stability.
Typical applications include slide bearings, gears, cams, guides, bushings, and seals – wherever mechanical load, friction contact, and media resistance are required.
