Cast PA 6, flame-retardant / Cast polyamide 6
ZELLAMID® 1100 FR is a flame-retardant cast PA 6 for use in fire safety-critical applications.
The material is modified with flame-retardant additives and meets the requirements of DIN EN 45545-2 for use in railway vehicles with classifications R9/HL3 and R10/HL3. In addition, tests according to NFF 16-101 (F2/M4) and DIN 5510 (S4, SR2, ST2) are available, which remain relevant for legacy vehicles and maintenance sectors.
ZELLAMID® 1100 FR is suitable for functional components in switch cabinets, interior parts, and covers where mechanical strength must be combined with defined flammability performance.
