PA 6 C + MoS2 / Cast Nylon + Molybdenum disulfide
ZELLAMID® 1100 MO is a slide-modified cast PA 6 with homogeneously incorporated molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂).
The addition of MoS₂ improves wear resistance, increases surface hardness, and supports smooth sliding motion under load. At the same time, stiffness is slightly increased and UV resistance enhanced, without significantly affecting the material’s toughness.
ZELLAMID® 1100 MO is suitable for bearing, guide, and sliding components exposed to increased friction, as well as for outdoor applications where weathering and abrasion occur in combination.
