PA 6.6 + PE / Polyamide 6.6

ZELLAMID® 250 PE is a slide-modified PA 6.6 with improved friction behavior for highly stressed sliding and guiding elements.

Through the targeted addition of polyethylene, the coefficient of friction is reduced while maintaining the mechanical strength and thermal stability of PA 6.6. The material exhibits consistent sliding behavior and high wear resistance under load.

ZELLAMID® 250 PE is suitable for applications in machinery and equipment engineering where combined requirements for strength, dimensional stability, and friction performance exist – such as in guides, bearing strips, or structurally stressed sliding components.
