POM-C / Polyoxymethylene
ZELLAMID® 900 is a copolymer polyoxymethylene (POM-C) with a homogeneous, pore-free structure and a well-balanced property profile for industrial use. Developed for technical precision components, the material impresses with high dimensional stability, low water absorption, and excellent machinability.
Thanks to its high surface quality and stable performance under mechanical and thermal stress, ZELLAMID® 900 is particularly suitable for applications with tight tolerances, continuous friction contact, and varying environmental conditions. The continuous service temperature is up to 100 °C. Dimensional stability is also maintained in media-exposed systems, such as those involving oils, fuels, or cleaning agents.
The combination of strength, dimensional stability, and machinability ensures reproducible results – regardless of component geometry or batch size. Suitable for use in the food industry according to FDA, EC Regulation 1935/2004/EU, 10/2011, and 2023/2006/EU.
